We were delighted to have worked with the team behind this presentation; Shane Joyce, Michael Gibbons and Chris Shanahan. We were approached by the committee involved in putting a funding bid together for an interpretive space on the location of the ruined Marconi Station in Galway, Western Ireland.
The Academy of Cinema and Televison has nominated our very own Patrick Lavoie for Best Original Music for a Non-Fiction Program or Series. This is a great honour for Patrick and we wish him well on March 1st.
We were delighted at the AOIFE (Association of Irish Festival Events) national conference held in Ballinasloe, recently, that our programme for the Clifden Arts Festival’s was runner-up in the ‘Brochure’ section of the ‘Carlton Best of Marketing Awards’ organised by AOIFE.
It was another busy year for us, and it was great to take some time out to attend the launch for the 36th Clifden Arts Festival.
After months of development, we’re proud to release this iPad app for one of the most important tourism destinations in Ireland, Connemara. This is the first app of its kind for Connemara, and the app is simply called ‘Connemara’. We are happy to make it available to download for free on the App Store.
We were delighted to learn that a project that we played a small part in has won the Gold Dolphin Award at Cannes for Environmental issues and concerns.
Less than a month ago we launched a new e-commerce site for celticimpressions.com. The site, which is run by jeweller Jonty Daly, is going from strength to strength since it was launched on time for the Christmas market back at the beginning of December 2012.
Recently we completed our work on website for Galway based restaurant, O’Dowd’s Seafood Bar and Restaurant. We were honoured to have been asked to design the catalogue for Captivating Brightness, a traveling exhibition from the Collection of the Irish Museum of Modern Art celebrating the 35th anniversary of Clifden Arts Festival, which opened to the public on Thursday 20 September 2012.
For the past 11 years we’ve been designing the programme for Ireland’s oldest arts festival, Clifden Arts Festival. We also design their website too, but the evening was about the printed programme. It’s always a great pleasure to attend, and the reaction to this year’s programme was hugely positive for us.
